  1. Hi I'm new! Found a 2017 Sierra SLE regular cab 3.42 5.3 with lane keep and front and rear park assist and the 20 inch rims Sold as new since it was driven by the finance guy. 2500 miles. Very happy so far. Has the occasional transmission clunk down shift but I knew about that going in from reading here for a couple months. It's not so bad! Sold my 19 year old Tacoma. Getting use to the width has been my only challenge. I love this thing. So I thought a regular cab would be a nice addition to this thread.

  4. Pulled and cleaned the MAF sensor and checked the earlier offenders. IAT, BAR and oil pressure sensors plus injectors and coils. Everything checked out okay. Cleaning the MAF cured a 4/5% rich condition. It wasn't oiled down. It was covered in a very fine layer of dust. (filter failure to clean the air) 366 miles later...yea...one tank does not a trend make but it did reflect a noticeable gain and a feeling of greater sharpness. We were looking for over fueling and likely found it. At least part of it. Plugs and wires on order. Book says something like 97K but next oil change looks like an opportunity. Add an XP WIX filter and recheck UOA's. That's a ways out. This change, adjust and then the end of the next change.

  5. 2.25” leveling kit and TRS projector retrofit are the main upgrades. Best truck I’ve owned, other than the stock headlights.

  7. In the same area. Would also like to know. Installed the back shocks myself however I'm not entirely comfortable doing the fronts for the spring transfer.

  8. 2.5” Rough Country leveling lift 17x9 XD Misfit (0 offset) 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler MT’s Rubs just a little on the back wheel well liner at full lock. A little minor trimming could easily fix that. 2.5” lift was easy to install myself at the house. I highly recommend this setup to anyone looking for a small lift. No regrets.

  9. I have a qi charger for my iPhone 7 Plus. The charger i have is an iottie. I LOVE it. It’s a windshield mount and I have it hardwired into the trucks fuse box. I just set my phone in it and don’t worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  11. Stock, then with eibach 2.5" pro lift level kit (rear shocks (no change to factory height) strut springs in front), then with the new 275/65/r20 bfg's... just what I was going for, and zero rubbing. Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

  16. Just to stay on Topic Matched the Front Tint and added the bed cover. Goes in Monday for Ceramic Coat/Xpel front end/Lights/Mirrors and a clear Undercoat. Ordering Duratracs as I've had em in the past and loved them. Wish they came stock on the 20s. Not sure if I'll change the rims, will probably have them done in Satin Black and leave them on. I've never liked the Debadged look, so planning on wrapping the Chrome Badges in a Black Chrome Vinyl if what I ordered matches the stock color around the 6.2 badge.

  17. Had my phone mounted here. 10’ power/data cable, suction phone holder trimmed down, and was about to put a bolt, washers and nut in to better secure it. Had I installed the bolt, washers, and nut, it would not have fell out of the pocket during my accident. Looking at reusing this phone holder if my next truck does not have the brake controller installed.

  18. I've been using this simple magnet mount for a few weeks now. Magnetic Car Phone Mount, APPS2Car Universal Stick On Rectangle Flat Dashboard Magnetic Car Mount Holder for Cell Phones and Mini Tablets https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077GSPW9N/ref=cm_sw_r_other_taa_1UQGBb6QE5FGA Strong magnet and extremely low profile. The radio bezel is tilted slightly towards the driver which is a perfect viewing angle for the phone. And yes, thats a blackberry!! (Don't be jealous) Sent from my SM-T700 using Tapatalk

  19. I had one of these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BZC262Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 *EDIT* Looks like there's a newer model getting good reviews for durability over the old one: https://smile.amazon.com/iOttie-Dashboard-Windshield-Samsung-Smartphone/dp/B076B27WP6/ref=dp_ob_title_wld?dpID=51EXcNKQgoL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail Nice mount but the bouncing of the truck eventually wore the joints out and the suction cup has a gooey material on it to make it stick better. When you remove it, it leaves some of that gooey stuff behind and it's a real pain to get it off of the windshield. If you go the route of something like this, DO NOT put it on your dash, it discolors it permanently.

  20. I used to use a magnet mount that used the CD player. Found it blocked the hvac controls though. Switched to a pop socket vent mount. Its ok. Jiggles more than I like.

  21. Hello GMTucks.com . Just bought a 2018 Silverado LTZ Crew Cab Redline Edition , awesome truck and I'm extremely happy with the new 8 speed transmission. Its going in next week for the RC 2.5 Level front & rear , as well as new BF KO2's . Still deciding on which cat back exhaust to install . I was going to wait and order a new 19 Trail Boss , but with the current incentives being offered I figure I'd take advantage of them and create my own Trail Boss with an 18 model . On a side note one of the first things I added to the truck was my GMTrucks.com sticker :-) Cheers from Ontario Canada.

  22. Running the 2.25" Readylift leveling kit up front, has the upper and lower spacer. Also added the 1" taller block out back. Only about 5k miles on the setup so far but no issues and rides fairly well in my opinion. Tires are 305/55/20 on 20x10, -24 wheels. I did have to trim some plastic and zip tie the fender liner back, still rubs in reverse while turning but nothing serious. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

  23. Why did they go to capless? Is the concept of a gas cap just too much for some people to handle? Not like anyone is doing NASCAR splash and gos at the local Sinclair station.

  24. Added an Aftermarket Mirror Fold Module so my DL3 Mirrors fold/unfold like the LTZ do with the Key FOB. Cost was about $50. But can be done for about $35. 2016 Silverado LT - Fold Your DL3 Mirrors with your FOB like an LTZ https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink?url=http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/196138-2016-Silverado-LT---Fold-Your-DL3-Mirrors-with-your-FOB-like-an-LTZ%26%233&share_tid=196138&share_fid=33003&share_type=t Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
