  9. Got the new 2019 Silverado RST and was not a fan of the wood trim, I believe there is no options on that, they all come with it. So wrapped them and it looks little better.

  11. The mud flap is extremely durable and doesn’t really move at all. It’s possible you could have some issues if you do heavy off roading, but if you are on pavement majority of time, I don’t see any issues with it.

  13. All I can say is OUCH - I do know what you are talking about with ghost issues that come and go. I found that it takes a very vigilant service manager to keep on GM to fix the problem. My wife's car (a Chevy Cruze) suddenly died and displayed three unrelated service systems in the DIC. The service manager and the tech both said it was probably one of the computers - but they also had to go through the gm troubleshooting tree before they could replace it. The tree included a couple of reprogramming the computers, replacing the battery cable and inspecting ground points, some sort of relay and finally the computer module - three weeks later. We did have a free rental car during this time and we received status updates from the dealer every other day. We know that they drove it around quite a bit after every repair attempt. The irony of all of this is that it probably cost GM more overall to go through all the steps rather than just replace the computer in the first place.

  14. I'm polite and will walk and come back another day. Your point is well taken. I just don't play their game. There are to many dealers and vehicles to not get a good price.

  15. 20x9 - 0 offset Black Rhino wheels 275/60-20 BFG K02's The tires just barely touch the felt liner at full lock, very very minimal. As soon as it stops raining I'm going to hop under it and zip tie the liner. Should be all set after that. Zero offset gives the UCA's plenty of clearance.

  18. That’s awesome man! Glad it worked for you. That bracket seems to serve no purpose but to push the mud flap forward. Super happy the shop took a long look to see what they could do to get everything to fit without rubbing. Definitely an easy fix.

  25. Hey there Sorry I am just seeing your post now. I got your order so thank you for that.! I will answer your questions just the same though. 2.) The lenses optics are very similar. The FXR might have a bit on the 5.0 with width but honestly it is so minimal it isn't worth stressing over. As well, you should always weigh out the cost, performance and ease of install factors. The FXR and 5.0 are similar in cost. Performance is very similar. But the install (as already mentioned) with the 5.0 is 10 times easier than the FXR. In my opinion the scale tips tremendously in the favor of the 5.0 retrofit. Same goes for the Sierra. 3.) Yes. Some ask about getting matching HID bulbs for the high beams but it isn't necessary and isn't recommended. If anything I suggest to get the 2Stroke LED option, but again, not necessary. To be honest you would be fine without the factory high beam as the 5.0 is better anyway. Ha 4.) Adapters will take care of it all. You will retain full adjustment via the factory adjuster. 5.) As already mentioned. 2 inch drop over a 25 feet distance. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy to help and your order is ready to roll out too just so you know. ;) Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

  26. I'd say that if the truck was built before Oct 2018, it has a chance of leaking if it has a rear power slider window. Take mine, made Aug 2018, bought Sept 2018, leak noticed Apr 2018. Of all those who have left entries on this site, there are about 20 people who have noticed water in their interior. Some had the simple fix of the sealant added to the top of the window while others had to have the rear window replaced. Some had further damage resulting in the headliner and carpets being replaced. Others have or are seeking having their trucks sold back to GM because the problems are to much for them to accept which is rightfully so. To be honest, I have owned / bought more than 60 vehicles in my lifetime [80% GM, 20% Ford, Toyota, Nissan] and this vehicle by far is the #1 in Dealership visits. But this was suppose to be GM's most tested vehicle with 7 million miles racked up. They missed a few things or they ignored some. Electrical / Software / Hardware problems have shown up pretty much immediately as owners took possession. I know first year vehicles have problems but GM should go above and beyond to satisfy their customers more so because of the problems. Owners that go thru problems like Shamrock, White should be the top priority of GM. The process should be easy and straight forward but that is not the case. By the time GM buys back the vehicle, the previous owner is so fed up that they do not wish to see another GM Dealership. Now GM and my Dealership have taken care of any problem I have experienced or any update that needs to be applied to my complete satisfaction. But then I have been with this dealership for 40 years.

  27. This is why people need to vet the information from others carefully because of false information, such as your comments about "Tenneco" Rancho shocks being related to his sag. His truck not holding the load has almost nothing to do with the shocks and everything to do with the springs or how he is actually loading the truck/trailer. The shocks are not holding the weight and have very little to zero to do with sag and support of the trailer weight (a new stiffer shock may save a millimeter or two of height if it even registers), the springs are what determines height and stiffness. The shocks are fine, the OP could go spend $4k on a new set of top of the line King shocks and bolt them up and it would sag the same (excluding the coil springs they usually come with). Shocks control movement, not hold loads, that is what the spring is for. How am I not surprised you then tell him to go buy "ThyssenKrupp" Bilsteins? Honestly, do you work for them or something? The OP can put your golden fairy dust shocks on and it will sag the exact same. OP, take the truck to the dealer, something is not right. Something is broken if it is sagging like you say. Also be weary of what people state online and do your homework and plenty of research, there are a ton of clueless people out there as you can see... Tyler

  28. I'm gonna put an airlift kit in my AT4 on mine just because of ride quality and my plans to lift/level but I def don't need it. It doesn't even squat a little when I put my 18ft flatbed on there and that's got to weigh close to the same as your atc. I've hauled a 4 place loaded with sleds and gear and it simply leveled the truck out. Sounds like something else is wrong to me..

  29. If its 3in lower That would mean the trailers nose would also be 3" lower meaning it has way too much tongue weight. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
