Hard to take a good picture of this because of the matte black and window glare. I put on a rear window vinyl over the weekend.7 points

So this is my first ever post. I got a steal of a deal on a new shadow Grey 2019 RST dual cab with all of the goodies. Allstar package , convenience package, max tow package, and solid black 22 inch wheels. Yes, those last two options do come as a package. It’s on my window sticker. Today I added, the premium all weather Chevy floor mats, Chevy rear fender liners, back floor liner, bed extender, spray in liner from line X, matte black window visors, front and rear Chevy splash guards, a Chevy tailgate gap filler, a center console organizer with sunglasses holder (a must for me), replaced all the chrome Silverado badges with black emblems, and my flowmaster American Thunder kit will be here on Wednesday. The dealership did the spray in liner because I added it to my deal and they also gave me $1000 parts credit. That’s why I went overboard with a GM certified parts, well except the exhaust. Thanks again to my boy Big Bertha for helping me out on the installs, and for parking that beautiful 2500HD next to my 2016 Colorado everyday until I upgraded lol. So far the community has been great, 3 2019 models have stopped at a light next to me and gave a thumbs up or a nod. Its not like driving my Jeep and getting a million waves but it is nice to see others showing you some love. All of my phone pics seem to be too large so I will figure that out and create a build page later.2 points

That's why I hate black rims looks like a black blob cant see the detail of the rim. Around here iam starting to see less and less black rims on vehicles as I think the fad is wearing out.1 point

Starting to see a trend here! We all know you like chrome. While i think the chrome is a breath of fresh air i can also appreciate that someone has picked what they think looks best on their truck and spent lots of money on what they want. I ran black wheels once and its not for me but i still think some look great.1 point

Ordered a couple of pieces of the sticker stuff folks are using for tailgate lettering inserts. Turns out you can buy custom sizes. I ordered a couple of 10"x1" pieces from bdtrims.com in flat red. $5/piece and $3 shipping. Basically unscrew the bolts to remove the top cover, clean the "Silverado" area off with alcohol pad (supplied), reposition cover to mark the edges with pencil, apply the sticker and button it up. I agree with you but I’ve already had several problems with my truck. They had to replace my steering column, infotainment system, some outside moldings, had a leaking master cylinder, and still have unaddressed brake issues. For a 50k that I’ve owned for 2/12 months I’d say there’s a problem. Especiall, when I know that I’m paying for a truck that still will not be fixed and no time frame in sight. I opened up a case today for a replacement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

I'm starting to think that since the 6112s have finally started shipping and being installed maybe they need their own thread. When giving feedback everyone reading needs to know which Bilsteins you're talking about.1 point

I talked to Readylift yesterday, they hope to have an approved level for the Trailboss/AT4 for sale by end of June.1 point

looks great, amazing how much tire you can fit if you keep the stock wheels. Update on my truck; 19 Denali 2500HD, put 2" leveling kit on and brought it up 1 7/8" (drivers side maxed out). Front measurement is 42 1/8" and rear is 43 3/4". I am happy with how it sits, the upper control arms are not touching metal stops and I didn't use shock extensions either. Also the ride is exactly the same and my steering wheel hasnt moved, so not sure if i need an alignment. I ordered MHT Sledge's 20x9 +20mm and hoped to fit LT285/65/20 Goodyear ultraterrains from Discount Tire. Today they did a test fit and it barely touched the inside of front fender liner and rubbed the factory mudguards, I have the factory flat/flexible guards. I probably could of done some trimming to make it work, but I am gonna try the 275/65/20's in the same tire. That 285 was taller than a 35 when side by side, weird.... I saw 2 more trucks like mine this weekend, both T bars cranked and UCA sitting on metal stops and one had 305/55/20 and other was 35-12.50.20 with trimming. I just dont want to mess with the ride quality and have it sitting on metal stops.1 point

I replaced the end links because supposedly the Moogs are way better than the ac delcos and they were only around $20 for the set. The truck has 40k miles on it and the end links had to come apart anyway so I figured why not. They do seem nicer but can't comment on how much it helped since I did it all at once. I went with the Rough Country forged upper control arms. For $250 they seem like a good deal and look a lot better than stock and the ball joint angle is flat. I ended up running them on the lowest setting of 2.5". It gave me a total lift of 2.75 at the time of install so they might settle a little. It sat mathmatically level but looked nose high so I'm really glad I went with the rear block as well. When I got done with the rear I was showing a good half inch or so of rear rake which looks perfect for me. I will say everything I did to it made the truck handle a million times better. There is no slop in the steering and it soaks up bumps and rebounds infinitely better than the stock setup. As far as the struts, I did not do them myself. I took the old ones to a guy I know at a shop and had him take apart and assemble the new ones for me for $50. They have a nice wall mount one and I'd rather pay the few extra bucks and not worry about messing with auto store rental compressors.1 point
