  1. Nice results! Thanks for sharing!
  2. I tried to use my BakFlip that came off my 2017 F250, but it was about 1.5" too narrow at the tailgate. The front fit fine, but the GM beds taper in width from front to back. I got a new one for my Silverado and am selling the one off the F250.
  3. Went on a trip yesterday about 300 miles total. Half was interstate going 65-75 and the other was rural. The trip odometer was at 16.7 mpg when we got home. Pulling my 36', 9500# TT last weekend, I got 8.6 mpg overall. Only 1200 miles on it, so time will tell if it increases any with a few more miles.
  4. Thanks. That's what I was figuring, due to the length, you'd have to have a lot of slack to go back toward the bumper for turns.
  5. Can you just plug the camera into the bumper connections and the trailer into the bed?
  6. I got a BakFlip MX4 for my High Country. Very pleased with it. Install was simple and straight forward.
  7. No, the new 6.6L gas engine is not flex fuel. E15 max for that one.
  8. Radar detector? I thought all the ones left were in the Smithsonian. Couldn't begin to tell you where to find one around me anymore. I had one, but I got a few tickets even still. A highway patrolman told me they're more likely to give tickets to people with them, than without. Once mine crapped out, I never replaced it.
  9. GM Financial is offering 0% in some instances, even on the new T1 trucks. We took the 0% on the new TourX we purchased a couple weeks ago, also. One, it helps get to the vehicle equity if need be and Two, every extra dollar goes directly towards principal.
  10. I've found my 2017 F250 Platinum to be as quiet, if not more, than the 2015 Silverado 2500HD LTZ it replaced. Maybe the upper trims have more/better sound insulation, but it's definitely not louder under any circumstances so far. My panels fit well and look fine from all angles, so I can't relate to those issues, either.
  11. Are these lights similar to the spot lights in the tow mirrors of my F250 and Silverado 2500HD? I have a button to turn each side on/off. They are on camper mirrors, so there may be some difference. They help light an area to the sideand rear of the truck.
  12. Pathetic that they SHRUNK the fuel tank and STILL didn't offer a larger option, especially with the NHT package. Hopefully they do have a larger tank as an option, if not, the trucks will be useless on longer trips towing anything.
  13. I have a 4 year old Cub Cadet Z-Force S-60 Commercial. It has the Kohler engine and hydrostatic. I liked this line of zero turn because it has a steering wheel instead of the dang stick-steer. It runs great and have a few hundred hours on it with just normal maintenance. We purchased it from a Cub Cadet dealer and not a big box store.
  14. Finally got my truck fixed. I had to take it back to them once the part came in, as it was no need for it to stay there when I could use it. As it turns out, the problem was cause by a corroded wire coming from the module. Apparently a rodent or other vermin nibbled at the insulation, possibly before I even bought the truck, and the wire finally corroded enough to break the circuit. All was repaired and it's driving like new. Side note, a friend of mine was telling the story of test driving a new truck, and when they opened the hood they found that something had been having a field day with the under-hood insulation.
  15. So, the service rep misspoke about the particular part ordered. No biggie. They had to order a new module for it. That came in and they went to program it, but after last evening and this morning, said that it wouldn't take the program. They are sending the "new" one back and having another new module overnighted to the dealer. I have the truck back now with the "Service 4WD" message and now a "Service Stabilitrak" message, as I had to have it for the next few days. They will call me when the module gets there and we will schedule an appointment to get it installed and programmed. Started to get a bit agitated, but realized that it's out of their control as far as a bad component is concerned. I truly hope that the new module comes in and can be installed and programmed correctly the first time.
  16. Yes, it's still under the B2B 3/36 warranty. At least for another year or 11k miles.
  17. Update: The 4WD Actuator was order Wednesday afternoon and was still in transit with FedEx yesterday. Hopefully it will arrive Monday and I will be able to get the truck early in the week.
  18. They told me they had to order a new actuator. It should be in tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hope to hear something late tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday morning. I'll be sure to share their findings. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Got in the truck Sunday to go to church, and got the "Service 4WD" message in the DIC. It's in 2WD and the indicator light just goes off if in any position besides 2WD. I've used 4HI and 4LO a few times in the past and never had any issues. Did a quick search but the results were either for older 2500's or for 1500s. Didn't know if anyone up here has had this happen yet on the 2015+ 2500HD trucks. I do plan on taking it in soon and getting looked at. I have it scheduled to be looked at next week. Any ideas would be welcome, though.
  21. I used the drop shackles, also. Started out with max drop to get it to around 1" rake, but went back and set it at 2" of rake for the same reason as you. Wanted a bit of rake to it wouldn't sag when pulling my TT, but not jacked all up when unloaded. Very pleased with the results.
  22. I have the NAV on my truck. Didn't particularly want it, but the truck had everything else I wanted, when I wanted it. Google Maps on a smartphone is a better way to go. She even speaks through the bluetooth, which is nice. Plus, it's always automatically updated. You could use Siri, but she's likely to drive you into a lake...
  23. Put the clamps on mine and it's a world of difference. Seems firmer than it was from factory. Very happy with this "quick fix" for the shifting driver's seat. No squeaks on mine yet, though.
  24. The 20s have the Continental tires and they are very smooth and quiet.
  25. Thanks! I've taken the level kit off and back on a couple times to try different things. Also switched out the 18s to the factory 20s. I've not noticed any difference in performance either way. I will say that a leveling kit on the CC 6.5' box doesn't appear to make as big a change when looking at the truck as it does on the CC short bed. I think it's due to the shorter length making it look like a sharper nose-dive on the short beds versus the standard beds.
