  1. I prefer black, but that's hard to find, so Yellow I suppose, though Red is also a great color.
  2. I'm thinking it has come to the point to where the reliability of most of the major names are all about on par and there is no longer a clear stand-out winner.
  3. Well just remember, there are no guarantees in life. except taxes.
  4. Thanks for the tip. This is my first truck with stabilitrack, my previous trucks didn't have it, just 4X4 and the G80 rear diff, and that always got me by just fine.
  5. Are you 100% certain that they can tune for deleted DPF/DEF?
  6. Eh. In this day and age 5 seconds isn't too big of a deal. Now if you were in the 4 second club.. that would be something. But given how many cars and trucks and SUVs out there are now turbocharged and what have ya, the 5 second club is the new normal.
  7. You're just lucky you even got a loaner. And since when did it become sales job to put you in a loaner? They sell vehicles, not loan them out.
  8. Thank you!
  9. I've been pissed off plenty of times before and it's easy to let it get to us, but please exercise patience. Don't let it get to this point. https://www.ksl.com/article/50094056/road-rage-shooting-injures-2-impacts-morning-commute-in-lehi
  10. That's interesting. What kind of storage was it in?
  11. Oh sorry. in that case i don't know if it will.
  12. Good job. I'm in the process of installing my ham radio and a CB radio in my center console, under the arm rest lid. I rarely use the CB but the ham radio will get used almost daily. It will have a remote head mount to put on dash and remote mic mount as well. Will post photos when done. Had a nice setup similar in my 08 LMMs.
  13. what is a drive cycle?
  14. Great choice in the NAPA Platinum filter (Wix made) that is a good 5000-10,000 mile filter. Great choice with the Amsoil front and rear diff stuff, I'm going to do mine at 20,000 miles. Good choice also with the transfer case fulid change but even there I'd likely use Amsoil but no worries. If you have the money and time, I'd also change out the power steering fluid, not very many miles on it, but get a good clean baseline on it anyway. (assuming you do have power steering fluid and it's not electric) Flush the tranny fluid every 30,000 miles too. The flush will clean the filter/screen.
  15. Yup, lots of this on Amazon and Ebay, car parts too. Be very careful. They can make the stuff look very legit but isn't.
  16. Congrats to you KC Fans! Even I am happy KC won. Didn't watch the game, (I never do) but Gotta cheer for my neighbors in Kansas and Missouri!
  17. Law enforcement here loves pulling over the idiots trying to smoke out everyone. Thankfully.
  18. I think so.. it's still the same body style, right?
  19. The folks over on duramaxforum.com like these as well. I'm considering it for my 2018 but am still worried about warranty denial. I've got 16,000 miles on it. I've read of several cases of warranty denial after the service department found traces of performance tunes in the onboard computers (apparently there is not just 1 computer that logs this stuff?) and the tuners claimed that reverting things back to stock programming and doing a relearn and or unplugging the batteries for a few hours would erase the footprint, but the dealers still found out somehow.. So I don't know. Still have to hit 60,000 miles or 5 years (2023) whichever comes first for me. And given that we are still seeing DEF, NOX, and glow plug issues on even the L5P.. I'm concerned. I had DEF and glow plug issues on my 2013 LML while still under warranty, and NOX sensor issues right out of warranty that GM would not cover.. so I might just wait until I am out of warranty before throwing on the go fast things. I do miss the better performance I got on my LMM when I installed the Hypertech Max Energy tunes.. it helped eliminate the turbo lag/dead pedal and torque converter issues.
  20. It's in my nature? Naah. I just am very disappointed in GM in how they are building ugly looking ******. Cadillac has gone to hell because of how ugly the things are and no one will buy them, The new Tahoe and Suburban are a joke, so that just leaves Buick? Which isn't doing well sales wise either. Yes just my opinion but blah anyway.
  21. I've also been using Super Tec from Wal Mart and no issues.
  22. While trucks hold their value fairly well, they do drop BIG time in depreciation in the first 2 years. That bump you felt driving out of the dealership with your new vehicle was the value of your vehicle dropping $10,000 - as Dave Ramsey likes to say. I'll never buy a new vehicle again as well. At least not in the immediate and distant future. Now if i had a million bucks, that would be different.
  23. It SUCKS that GM let you down. And is letting everyone else down. How much did you pay for it new?
  24. Given how ugly these things are, you have to actually ask this question?
  25. Sorry, but the current generation looks anything but aggressive. More like wimpy and has had it's ass handed to it. Squished in. A dumb fish. blah.
