  1. I did the same thing a couple years back. We made police cars all the way to custom police 4 wheelers loaded with lights and stuff. I found it crazy when I did teardowns of old cop cars I would find light bar wiring wrapped around airbags in the pillar just to use access wire. Shit was wild.
  2. Nooo! I have a 20 rst 6.2 as well with the same build date and I purchased two weeks after you. Shucks I was thinking I would be in the forever dry club. But it's not going to be that way for long by the looks of it.
  3. Just use a 3 cent diode wire and connect the same two wires that the boost is essentially connecting. Just a less costly way. I've done it to my last 3 trucks over 7 years and no issues ever.
  4. Probably going to be faster to post a photo of your truck and say is this normal etc. Instead of having someone else go outside and take a photo to upload here for you. Also many dealers post photos of interior that might help.
  5. Seems stupid to start another rear window leak thread when one already is going just fine. ?
  6. Ohhh that's cool. ?. I'm assuming you checked the glovebox and havent seen the 4 pin harness but i recall the manual saying something about this issue. But dont remember since it didn't effect me. Maybe they put it behind the bumper right by the hitch?! Idk.
  7. Sprayed all badges black. Specifically happy with how the rst turned out.
  8. I have max tow and it has the 4 pin. Can you post a photo of what yours has next to the license plate?
  9. The spot for the 2x4 that keeps groceries in the back is a small area, so I just added a sheet of ply to my 2x4 rack above. Along with that i have a sliding box that holds the trailer hitches and ratchets above. But the grocery idea easily freed up another 7 inches. All will be sprayed black soon.
  10. Yes they come on every time the parking lights are enabled. I used the diode method. And yes they come on while remote starting at night
  11. Would have been nice if they included some kind of power port up there. A usb charging port has to cost very few cents.
  12. This might not be of any help but here is my window. Haven't had any water inside the cabin during big rain or car washes. 11/19
  13. These new trucks have that much body flex? If it was the same part used as the last body style and it worked on those but doesnt on these that is weird. ?
  14. They are in front of the grab handle spot so I'm assuming they are to do with adding a ladder rack or something. To help lock the post in type of deal
  15. I like how the linked one for the last gens has an option to automatically turn on the front camera when your going under 10mph. That's handy as heck.
  16. Any way the new Chevy LEDs can run bright at night?
  17. I did the same thing. On Amazon there are like 20 people selling packs of multiples and I order the single 1 for the same price from one seller. He was laughing his ass off I bet when he got my money. Either way paid the same for the pack of 50 or more
  18. I hope the 17s have the new model
  19. Second to top picture is awesome looking. I think because it's the only one without "expensive" in the pic. I would like that side image but to hard to actually see the paint around wheel wells with the hdr effect and overexposure look someone added. I'm sure you get heads turning daily. Nice truck
  20. Photos of where it's rubbing? I'll add tape to that area now while it's new
  21. So this in theory should work on the 17s so our leds are all on in the front and no stupid break lights on in the day
  22. Tried again today and filed down the edges of the diode and it slid in like butter. I just wish the fogs came on during the day super bright like the drl leds in the headlight
  23. Waiting a couple days to do fogs and see the look Can you post a photo for visual?
  24. That's the problem. I agree the fogs stick out bright when everything is off. But how do i go light? Maybe I can order a very light tint film, maybe 50% or so
