I am looking into a set of winter tires for my truck and I found a set of BFG MT KM's in the size 255/75/17 with is close to the stock size of 265/70/17 but they are a tad higher and a tad narrower.

Anyone running this tire? If so post pictures and comments on them.

I have 255/85/R16's and I do not run them in the winter. I switch to my BFG AT's because the MTs are pretty bad on ice other than that they are a very good tire.

I have 285/70/17 km2 which is suppose to be 33 but are only 32 and 3/8. I had them on my truck for almost 3 hours lol. They do ride good, nice and smooth and they handle great on the dry road, it was raining but before they got finished it stop and the roads got dried. below 5 mph they rock the truck from side to side but i like that. The tread is really deep and big, I was surprised how well the balanced to be a mud tire. I got the from NTB amd they said to expect 40k maybe more or less

the ones I am looking at are the first KM that they came out with. And if they rock the truck when coming to a stop I don't want them. Only tire I had that did that was my 37x13.5 Procomp extreme mt's I used have on my lifted ford I had. Wasn't a big fan of it and everyone questioned what was wrong with my tires because it did that.

They are pretty good on snow and havent had any issues with them in the rain. The ATs have a little more rain traction but the MTs arent that bad. I have the KM's and I dont have any rocking when stopping.

it aint bad rocking. of all the mud tires that ive had these rock the least i think its more of vibrating than rocking. im not use to these tires yet anyways. oh ok i know what tread your talking about now, i asked them about those tires because thats the ones i was really wanting and they said i would like the km2 better all around.

Ok what you are saying is that you can feel the lugs grabbing as you slow down. That is what my 37's did.
