Headlights

Hey guys, new to the forum!

 

I have a 2009 silverado, and i am not a big fan of the chrome headlights, and i want it to be black inside. I don't want to get new headlights, and im too lazy to take it all apart and sand and paint and all that.. Is there anyone who knows where i can purchase them, if not please post the easiest and quickest way to do it myself!

What it looks like he's tryin to say here is that he dosent want to change the lights to halos or anything. He wants a replacement for the stock headlights that have the black houseing like the tahoe's have. Iv been looking for them my self but can't seem to find them for a silverado. I think it would look clean. Anyone know where do getem?

What i was trying to say is i don't want to buy a new style headlight. I want the stock headlight, just with a black housing. Sorry for the confusion. And i said if you don't know where to get them, what's the easiest way to go about painting them...

I guess I don't understand what part of the headlight you want to be black... the chrome reflector in there is necessary for the headlight to work. Sounds like maybe you want projectors...

Best way, search "painted and cleared" I know GMFS has a writeup about this.

Halo projectors are a little over the top for me. I already have hids and you can't use them with halos. I don't see why they make nightrunner headlights for dodge but not chevy.

I like my Halos, but ya the HID factor sucks.

 

Matt, I'd check ebay or just search google there's no shortage of aftermarket headlights for the silverado....
