Blackbear is excellent --- don't have it myself, but all of the positive feedback here is telling.

 

I have a custom tune pushed by a Diablosport Predator. I have had good luck with the Diablosport. The handheld allows for a quick return to stock programming w/o an ECM swap. That's a major feature difference.

 

Either way, it's completely change the personality/performance of your truck for the better.

as Grumpy said, it allows you to be able to restore your original stock tune at any time when you're going in for service work, without having to swap out ecms...

 

plus, you can make your own adjustments with it to a bunch of different parameters as your needs/mods change... again, without having to remove and ship out your ecm anywhere...

1 more for Diablo, i also have a custom tune done by Johan. I got to tell you these guys are truley realy good at what they do. I have owned and or sold every tuner on the market and got to say Diablo has some of the best customer support out there. Not to mention all the cool stuff you can do with there tuner.

I have to put another vote in for DiabloSport. Its nice being able to Swap out tunes whenever you want. and getting my custom tune from Lew really brought my engine to life, but the canned tune that came w/ the preditor wasnt bad either. My only complaint about the preditor has been the fact that there is no TCM support yet (for my Truck).. However it is currently in development and will hopefully be out sometime soon. But overall i have been very happy with my preditor.

I vote Black Bear and keeping the stock computers though with that in tranny TCM you could only keep the stock ECM stock. The couple minutes it takes to swap the computers is easy.
