Gears may be your answer, but without knowing your tire size and what gear you have now it is hard to say what to change to.

BUT, and this is a BIG but. I would highly highly highly recommend visiting this website... www.blackbearperformance.com

You will be absolutely amazed at what he can do for you. A custom Black Bear tune will net you a lot more then your CAI, exhaust and shift kit have.

Plus, it is much cheaper than gears.

Well, with 35in tires and I am assuming 3.73 or 4.10 gears. If you have 3.73's I would say yes definitely need gears. If you have 4.10s then it could go either way.

If you always plan on having 35s then 4.56's would be the way to go. If you think you may step up to 37s in the future then I would go ahead and go with 4.88s

In the glove box is all the RPO codes (It will be a GT#...example GT4 or GT7). Those codes can tell you what gears you have.

If you have 4.10s I would get the tune first. If you have 3.73s then I would get the gears then tune. I will say the tune is going to wake your truck up sooooooooooooooo much.

Search on this site for Black Bear Tunes, you will see a ton of positive feed back.

I think the tune would be the best option to try first. Removal of TM and other tuning will get you off the line faster. I think you'll be happy. If it doesn't give you the result you need, then 4.56's would be a nice boost as well.
