07 Classic Body Leveling Issues. Please Help.

hi everyone i am new to this site and have literally spent most every night reading posts since registering as a member. im already in touch with justin about a blackbear tune, which is, along with leveling, one of the last things i want to do on my truck. i have to say this is the most informative and in-touch site ive found for truck gm owners. i had a question and figured this is the place to get an honest answer. so here it goes....

my truck is an 07 classic body, crew cab, short bed, vortec max. im looking to level the stance so i dont look like a stinkbug. im not looking for the "offroad" type look, (as nice as that look is). im aware that this truck has a slightly stiffer suspension, but i dont know if its an hd suspension or what it is. (maybe someone here can tell me) im rolling on 275/55/20 tires all around and dont plan on changing those (at least for now). i dont haul heavy items often, but i do tow a 6x9 enclosed trailer with the custom bikes i build in it (approx. 350lbs each bike). should i lower the back or lift the front? i dont want to much air between the tire and fender. so i figure lowering the back but then i second guess myself.........please help. any photos and opinions/experience are greatly appreciated. photos of my truck are soon to follow. thanks again.

You can crank the front t-bars to net an inch+ in the front, or you can remove the rear block to lose an inch in the back....either way has been done many times before. Its up to you.

I'd use lowering shackles to drop the back....

I cranked the torsion bar on my 99 and it sits up real nice and perfectly level... I actually get compliments on the stance all the time, and there isnt too much room between the tires and fender. The torsion bar also costs like 20 bucks and takes 30 seconds to get done at any front end shop so its easier too. Good luck

You can lower the bad by either installing 2wd blocks or removing them altogether. As mentioned above, you can crank the tbars a for about 2" max, but if your looking to lower the distance between the tires, then I'd just remove the blocks in the rear. :sigh:
