Fuel Pressure Regulator

I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 w/ a 5.3L V8. The part numbers I find for the regulator are as follows:

AC 2173073

GM 17113536

GM 17113700

The first 2 have the tube on the side, and the last one has the tube on top. The one in my truck is on top. So I would assume thats the one I should get. But doing research the picture looks a bit differently then the one I have. On the AC Delco site it shows another regulator P/N 217-3299 this looks more like it. I don't want to order it and find it's the wrong one. Also, do I need a new O-ring, and screen set? If so what's that P/N.

I would just get an after market one but they are pushing $80-$90, and the GM ones are around $60.

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Have you tried walking into a parts store and seeing what they say fits your truck? You can look at the part while you're there.

I got it. I just paid $89.00 instead of $70.00. I was just trying to save a few bucks.

Thanks,

Dave

So what part # was correct for your vehicle?

I got the after market one. From my research the GM ones were about $20.00 cheaper. Which is odd, usually they are more expensive in my experience. Besides, by the time I order it and paid shipping, it brobably only be $10 cheaper. But according to the parts store the GM would have been GM 17113700. It's done, and fixed. The truck starts up right away now.
