This should make for some good before and after for the bedliner. I ordered the bedrails and wheel well liners from GMPartsDirect.

I much pefer the way the factory bedrails look and match the tailgate protector as opposed to putting the liner over the rail. I'm gonna get the Line-X sprayed in when I get the time to go drop the truck off out in BFE...

The liners and the rails were cake to install. I wasn't able to get the screws in that were right behind the tires. But i'll carry the screws with me and when I get the tires rotated at the next oil change, I'll see if the dealership will screw them in.

I was interested in getting those bedrail liners...are they part #17802473 from GMpartsdirect?? Thanks

Yep, that's them.

For us folks who have salt to deal with in the winter, will those liners become a salt trap?

I know not of this salt you speak... :D

Sorry, no clue. The only time I've been on a salted road was in a CO for vacation. And I was in a rental so I wasn't very concerned.

But I could see how the salt water could get behind it and evaporate and then it would be a pain in the a$$ to wash it all out from behind the liner. It appears that it is designed to minimize water getting behind it, but it's going to get back there eventually.

That was some of my concern, so I just sprayed mine with undercoating for the same effect, and I'm it's very durable, and easy to touch up if need be

I installed mine too and we will see this winter how it goes... PM me this winter so I can give you information and probably can take a picture of the wheel house liner in salt activity :D

Interested in hearing about this as well.

Just thinking out loud here but I am guessing if you have your vehicle annually undercoated by Krown or Rust Check and the area(s) are relatively easy to get to, I can't see a problem? (I haven't actually seen them installed in person)
