Water In Window Motor

I have a 2000 Yukon XL. I just recently bought it and after two weeks the passenger window motor went. No big deal, I replaced it. After a month, the replacement stopped working. I pulled the motor off the gearbox and it was half full of water. Strange, huh? Got a hose, started soaking down the door and water was pouring inside the door frame. It was coming in the front and rear where the beltline/dew wipes ended. I thought it may be the wrong wipe, but after looking at all the doors, they were all short. Sure enough, all the doors have water pouring into them. I find it hard to believe that this is the way they are designed. Check out the pic and let me know. Thanks
