I am just looking to get 40-45,000 out of the Hankooks. I dont really want a hard rubber, 90,000 mile tire. I want something that will last a couple winters, and grip in the snow and the rain. Should be getting these in a week or two, and will post pics!

Im with you, I dont like the ride qaulity that you get from high mileage tires. Id rather get tires every 3-4 years and get alot better ride qaulity.

For me its moreso that harder compound, high mileage tires, don't grip as well in cold and rain. I only drive my truck in crappy conditions, or when its hauling something. I ride my Z1000 most all the time. It gets much better mileage, its more maneuverable, and its alot more fun! I put less than 20k on my truck in a year, and an 80,000 mile tire in theory would take me approx. 4 years to use up. In four years they have gone through who knows how many heat cycles, and are probably getting sun faded, and weather cracked. I dont know, thats just my honest opinion.

Tires are in today, will be getting them put on Saturday. Went with the Hankook DynaPro ATM RF10's (265/70/17's) $538 mounted and balanced OTD

I'm curious how those will last for you. I had the narrowed it down to the two same tire selections as you, but chose the Nitto's TG's. I only have 11k on them now, but so far so good. I went with the P265/65/17, same height as stock tire, but a little wider.

Are your Hankook's P-rated or LT?

I bought the P-series, but they are rated at 2535lbs per tire though. I wanted white letter tires, and these got awesome reviews! I bought 'em, and have no complaints. The tires are great in water, snow, and on ICE too! I think The side lugs are more functional on these than those on the TG's..... I could have went either way, but @ 6,000 miles they are still going great and show no wear!
