Guys,

The tail lights are out on my dad's 2005 CCSB. It has 41,000 mile. Is it that switch module thing-a-ma-jig? All he has is the 3rd brake light and running lights. Thanks in advance!.

I know this may sound stupid and you may have done it but have you checked the bulbs? My old boss had an 03CC that went through bulbs on a reg basis!

I am dealing with the same problem right now.My center (cab taillight) is the only one working intermittently. Mine turned out to be in the harness block which is located almost to the rear bumper. There is a terminal block where 4 connectors come together on the drivers side of the frame facing forward. In my case the far left connector ( Blue in color) that comes from the cab is not making contact all the time. I can move it back and forth and the stoplights will come on and off. The pins in the connector are not making solid contact. I have put a zip tie around the four connectors to cause the blue one to have pressure put on it pulling toward the middle. Working so far but i'm not completely satisfied that the problem has been cured.

 

I talked to the parts guy at the local Chevy dealer and a replacement block is available where all 4 connectors plug into. Have not decided if I will put that in or not. Part # is 15304995. Cost is about $20. I am going to see how my zip tie works for the next day or two and then decide. Hope I have made my problem clear. If not let me know and I will try to get into it further.

 

Okay, Just checked fuses and bulbs and thay are all good. Any other suggestions? :thumbs:
