Bazooka Bass Tube

I am looking to upgrade my sound system with some bass and was wondering if the bazooka bass tube was a good solution or would it sound better with a regular sub box??

i've demo-ed a bunch. i've never really liked them, the bass is too sloppy. but i think i've seen a couple people who have them on the board. maybe they'll drop by.

if you have the skills, its always better to build your own box. then you can get everything the way you want it. so it sounds good to your ears.

I've got the 8" Amplified Bazooka in my ext. cab.  It sounds good if you are just looking to fill the missing bass that the factory system lacks.  It won't rattle your kidneys, but it does do a good job of producing bass.  It's only an 8", so you aren't going to be moving a lot of air.

Right now I've got two 12" Kicker subs in a sealed box powered by a 500W Alpine amplifier in the back seat on a temporary basis.  I took them out of my car and threw them in the truck for kicks.  Now that moves air!
