I never bought into the amsoil hype until I Did a transmission flush on my scion tc. Man what a world of difference!

The only Mobil1 I found had the additive... I did the change a few months ago and it seems to be working for me.

As one who has had a G80 granade on a 1999 GMT-800 with around 70,000 miles, I strongly suggest using the right fluid and changing it every 15,000-25,000 miles. $1600 was a very expensive repair bill for a new G80 back in the day. It is probably even more now.

 

I had a 98 1500 with the G80 and had it got out twice, but it was my fault from how I would drive it and what I did in it. But, all I did was get a junkyard full axle and just changed the axle while transferring some of the things like the brake shoes.I can't remember how much the axle cost because it was a few years back, but I know it was less than $1,000 I believe. It might have been closer to that if I had a shop do the work.
