Coolant Geyeser

Recommended Posts

Well I was making an exhaust video on my '96 and when I got out there was coolant pouring out the bottom:eek::shakehead:

So upon further inspection, I saw that it it was the connection of a heater hose the was coming from the head right beside the throttle body, and headed to the cab, so I unhooked it, and I saw the plastic bushing inside of it was broken into tiny pieces, so I pulled that whole fitting out of the block, and am heading to the parts store to see what I can find

Has this happened to any of you guys before?

Well, I went to the parts store, and they had to order it, but luckily it will be here on thursday, so I can get going again

I'm just glad it was while it was sitting in my garage, and not who knows where

I had a similiar issue on a 89....tossed the old hose, bought a nipple adapter like they used to use and a piece of heater hose and all was well.
