Anyone Running Toyo Mts?

I was thinking about toyo mt's also. I had some 285/75/17's that were 34 inches tall on a wrangler before I bought my current truck and really liked them. I have done some looking and I think toyo only makes 3 tires for 18 inch rims in the mt. The 285/75/18 mt that measures out to 35 inches tall and I don't think can be considered without a full on lift kit. The 33/12.5/18 mt that are for 18 by 8.5 wide rims at a minimum. This leaves the 275/70/18 mt that measures 33.5 inches tall and will fit on the factory 18 by 8 inch rims. I would like to fit these on a stock height truck with some plastic trimming but I don't think this is possible. I would love to have someone prove me wrong however. The other option is fitting the 275/70/18 mt with the 5100 series bilsteins set as low as possible above the factory setting. Does anyone have experience/pictures of a stock nnbs truck with 275/70/18's or with the bilsteins not set at max height? Sorry for the hijack but I am interested in the same thing.

I am running 285/75/17 Toyo open country MT's with a 2.5 inch leveling kit and the stock 17 inch wheels. When I first got the tires put on and did a series of turns there was some rubbing. But now there is little to no rubbing. Only when I am backing up and have the wheel's half way between full lock and having them straight, and even then there is very minimal rubbing. It only rubs at that moment. No rubbing at full lock. The reason the rubbing was worse at first was there was a plastic rivet that was holding the plastic liner in the wheel well to the back of the tires. They actually worked their way out, and all is good. I love this tires, I would definitely recommend them.

Toyo MT's look AWESOME on the GMT-900's! If I had the green I'd shell out for some but I don't so I'll just have to dream of getting some one day...

I just joined this forum this morning while taking a break from pullin an all nighter studying for an accounting exam. I tried to get my girlfriends camera to take a couple pictures of my truck, but she dropped it in a beer the other day, so it doesn't exactly work right now. I will try and find another friend that's got a camera so I can post some pictures. It should be able to get them up in the next few days if I can find a camera.

Yeah I know, but it's not like I'm gonna find that tire on a lowered truck :sigh: abd it's only a CCM 2.5" leveling kit.

I know I ment more than a leveling kit...

For those of you guys running the Toyo MTs did the ride que stiffer after adding the toyos because they are load E?

On my previous truck a dodge ram 2500 I run the Toyo 35x12.5r17 Load E for a year or so and the ride was very stiff, then I changed to the BFG KM2 35x12.5r17 Load D and the ride got alot softer, so much that I regreted getting the extra stiff toyo mts.

Do our chevy NNBS trucks get a stiff ride with the Toyo MTs?
