Auto Trac 4x4 Is It An Option?

My 08 LTZ came with it but I was wondering if it is included on all of the half ton 4X4s or is only available on the up level trucks.I find it a very usefull option as our roads go from bare to ice in an instant and it easy to forget and leave it in regular 4x4.I find myself using it alot more than regular locked in 4x4

I dunno about now, but automatic 4wd came on my 2002 Trailblazer LS and my bud has it on his Avalanche as well... so they did in 2002... =P

Pretty much all the newer trucks have it.

 

I love the feature as well. Very smooth.

I don't think the 2500HD's have it. At least I don't think they did in the GMT800's.

Standard feature on GMT900 "SLE and SLT" trim-level 1500 trucks (and whatever those match to on Chevy). AFAIK, HD trucks don't have it.
