Mudflaps/splash Guards For 2010 Yukon

Hey everyone. A co-worker of mine just bought a new 2010 (i believe, if not an 09) Yukon. She wanted me to find some mud flaps for her Yukon and haven't as she wanted them before Christmas. But there are four i can think of to go with.

1. The GMC logo'ed splash guards, for our new work truck ran about $85 dollars i believe.

2. The contoured ones, that cover up about half an inch of the fender/paint, with the GMC logo (are these no drill?)

3. Weather Tech makes a no drill mud flap don't they? At least for the trucks...and recommendations on those.

4. Luverne Mud flaps. As another co-workers husband has these on his 09 Silverado, and i must admit they are great. They have a chrome/satin piece on the bottom, and they are a thick foam like material, and best of all, no drill! I wanted them for my 03 but luverne makes the same flap just not no drill.

Any help would be great and pictures too. She is not to picky, but i want to recommend soemthing that will look nice and complement her new vehicle. I just looked on the GMC website and it must be an 2010 model as the color is the White Diamond Tri-coat, which I think the black flaps with the GMC emblem should look good with. Thanks Ryan!

I have a 08 2500 and I bought the Chevy contour mud flaps and I do not remember having to drill a hole that I can remember, If there are holes to drill it was like 1 each, I remember using holes that were already there and using clips and the new bolts in the lower front that came with the mud flaps because the factory bolts would be too short.

The parts folks at the gm parts counter may be able to answer if her new car would require holes be drilled, maybe they can pull up the instructions and see and or call and find out especially if she went where she bought the car they might be willing to go the extra mile and find out. Mine was willing to order a set to see if I liked them with no strings attached because they could sell them to someone else later.

Thanks for the reply. Are yours the type that come back and cover some of the fender slightly, or the contoured type that just go on like a regular flap except at the bottom they have a slight contour in them?

Yeah i think i will have to do some calling around and checking, hopefully get to that tonight and post some links up to what looks like some good options to consider.

I just installed a weathertechs on my 08 Sierra, took aboout half an hour, no drilling. They use existing fasteners plus a new bolt on the fronts, and two brackets on the backs. Fit is great.

Mine cover aprox about 1/2 inch all along the edge of the mud flap, the back pair have the gold chevy bowtie and the GMC ones have the GMC logo. Mine are the more expensive of the 2 kinds that gm sells. I hope that helps.

Sorry for the delay due to work schedule.

Hey no problem, with xmas and work to it is very easy to get behind! Could you post a pic or something or else email just a pic? ([email protected]) I am pretty sure i know the style you are talking about, but it would just be easier to show her and say, here this is what they would look like. And she will either like it or not. No hurry though, and if not that is fine too! The help is appreciated.

bdb, thanks also and if you want to post a pic or email that would help to! Depends how bad she wants to go no drill or not. But i know she wont be fussy and will just go for the look she wants. Thanks everyone Ryan
