Wheel Well Liners

Paid $75 CND from local dealer. Installed in 20minutes...had truck on hoist - also would be easier if you have a jack, jack up the rear end as much as possible(without lifting tires off ground), 3 push pins go into fender lip and I believe 3 self tapping screws that you gotta drill in. Looks much better, and protects your box and underbody.

retail is $99/set. I looked at some on ebay (gm dealerships that sell parts) and they said they are shipped loose not in a box and to expect scratches...wtf?....did you guys that got them at the dealer come in a box?

No box, mine came from my dealer and they were loose. Considering where they go and what they are for, scratches are not really that big of a deal. I would think they would have to be treated pretty badly to get damaged.

Undercoating FTW

+1 for that.

2 cans of rustoleum undercoating got me 2 coats per wheel well on the rears. looks amazing and lasts a long time. I know a lot of people on here have done it and loved the results.

Mine didnt come in a box either. They are a weird shape and arent heavy at all. and considering the item, it wouldnt make sense to have a box. On my old truck, I sprayed undercoating then installed these ... protection x2 lol

+3

Plus I think it is much easier to take care of. Liners always seem to get scratched and bleached out/faded (what every you want to call the gray appearance they get). For maintenance on the undercoating just spray some tire protectant on it and it looks good as new.

It has been over a year since I coated mine. No recoating so far and like I said, I can make it look brand new in about 5 minutes.

So what do you think happens with the Escalades, Tahoes, Suburbans, Denalis, and all cars? Does "dirt/debris/salt, etc still get trapped behind the liners, and cause some issues?" I've never seen/heard of a Escalade having issues in the rear wheel wells, my dad has had his for 7 years now, wheel well liners are fine. IF your that worried, spray some undercoating yourself, install the liners and you'll be fine.

Undercoating FTW. Duplicolor makes some that is rubberized and goes on like a pro did it.

well at $100 for molded plastic I expect a box

So that you can throw the box away?

The liners come tie-wrapped together with the hardware in a bag. Works fine for what they are.

Exactly. Where are the stories of all those SUVs rotting away?

Exactly what I was gonna say. Why do you DEMAND a box ... when your just gonna throw it away?
