Power Sttering Pump Bracket

Ok so heres my problem, the serpintine belt keeps coming off, i think i have isolated the problem to the bracket that goes around the front of the motor that the powersteering pump bolts to. It has 2 bolts that are suppose to go into the block, they are missing and it seems they broke off in the block.

So my question is can i bypass the powersteering? if so does anyone have a quess on what size belt i would need?

And would it be too much trouble to try to tap out the old bolt studs? if i cant bypass the powersteering.

BTW this is on a 1989 Chevy 1500 Z71.

Thought i might also add that it does have A/C

my 88 did the same thing. i got lucky the tab broke so i welded it back on. i got a new bracket from a salvage yard for $100 its worth it power stearing is a must if your running big tires. it will be steel not alum if it is its the wrong part

It seems that the bolts are still in the block, just the heads broke off, i got a can of PB Blaster and a screw removal kit. Im going to pull the rad and fan to get back to it and try to get them out this weekend. Wish me luck.
