Rear Drum To Disc Conversion

OK boys, I will be coming back in the country in 3 months (hopefully). i have a few plans up my sleeve for the truck. One of them is upgrading to a larger wheel/tire combo and a lift kit, which thus raises the question of better brakes. So, can you all help me find the diagrams and parts and part numbers I need to be able to convert my rear drums to disc using OEM parts. Below is my truck specs:

 

2006 Silverado 1500 Z71 Crew Cab with OEM 17" wheels and tow package. Has the Large Front Rotors with the big Drums that went with it in the rear.

 

Reason I want to go this route, is because i can't quite upgrade the rear at all unless it is rotors. So I am at an impass. I do not want to upgrade just the front, have them look nice and work well only to have rusty old rear drums, especially if i can swap out parts and get upgraded rear discs from Baer.

 

If there is anyone who has a better idea on improving the looks of the drums pleas eby all means let me know.

You can clean the brake drums and paint them any color you want. Brake caliper paint in various colors is available in most auto part stores.

 

Or, you can have them gold plated.

Sierra Denalis have rear disc brakes. I bet you could find the rear brakes of a recked Denali and install them.

Or you could find them on a wrecked Denali.

I will even do a regular brake upgrade if i can. As of now, there isn't really a manufacturer that I have found that makes "high performance" drums or shoes. I don't want to get a lift and new tires/wheels without upgrading the brakes somehow to help slow down the added rotational mass the larger wheels/tires add. Is there anyone that knows of a better brake shoe/drum than OEM for our trucks?
