Im new here and dont know what to say. Will be making mods to my 08 silverado and will be posting pics. Here it is. alitte hard to see with the black on black. 6 in bds lift with 35 in tires and 20 in rims. mods coming to include wheel to wheel n-fab black coated steps, bush whacker 2 in bolt ons, 5% tinted windows, black angel lights and K&N intake. Will be doing "my" first oil change on it. I experimented on the wifes stang so I think im ready. Any tips?

I am surprised...I personally would have went with chrome on the wheels with a silver truck, but man! Those black wheels look super on that body! It is a super contrast to body color, subtle, but screams look how bad I am at the same time!

thanks for the compliment,i think the black looks better then chrome. the chrome isnt the same color so it would clash. black on black is good. buying amp steps tomorrow.

Sharp truck. looks like it is 2wd though??? Correct? Welcome, from DumbAssVille, NM.

As far as the oil change, can't hardly beat a WIX brand filter. Need a 15mm wrench for the plug, I use a pair of Mac adjustable filter pliers, but they are tight as the filter is cut right against the pan. A metal strap type filter wrench would work well. That and 6qts of your favorite 5w30 oil. It ought to be easy on that beast, won't have to lay down to do it!!
