Work Truck!

So i started this new job and they got two different styles of trucks this company uses. 2008 silverado crew cab short box 5.3 and the new titans.

So the huge gm/chevy fan iam i wanted to drive the chevy first over that jap thing. Im pretty let down from chevy. I tried a couple of their trucks and i dunno whats wrong with them but they got no power. the truck shifts like 5 times before it gets to 100km/h. and when you step on it and gears down of course but it wont shift back up the rpms will just stick at 4000. Thats all three trucks and the ride so rough. i was disapointed, but dont worry i still love them.

The titans. The power is actually decent but to me its still a gay truck and if someone sees me owning on please shoot me haha. they are pretty gay looking and the interior is kinda faggish.

almost sounds like the Co. put limiters on the GM trucks..not uncommon with fleet trucks/cars

oh really?? yeah it wants to go almost put yeah shifting and power is kinda gay. im sure if one was to put a programmer in it, it would probably be better

titans are for those guys that are trying to make up for something, they are over hyped gas guzzlers, rather weak from what i hear..

Titans are so stupid that Nissan is now going to have RAM (new brand name for Dodge Trucks, its not Dodge anymore, it's RAM) build the Titan for Nissan. Hell Nissan can't even sell 10,000 of the Titan's a year, that's very sad. I think they had good potential, but they were ugly and the interiors SUCK.

Limiters no dought, you can order them from the factory with them on there.

My brother-in-law had a fleet of mixed S-10s and full size Chevy trucks for his company and he had all of them with limiters on them from the factory.

I raced my vmax against my best friends titan. Both vehicles were completly stock at the time. He blew me away and got a full truck length ahead of me. That is until my 4 seconds of nannies wore off. Then I passed him like he wasn't even moving. My GMC hit 98mph and of course it couldn't go anymore so my buddy passed me up again.

So "technically" he won. His truck still looks gay though.

I agree a Titan's interior is pretty bad, but optioned right they don't look bad, but I'd never own one, and they have potential as far as looks and performance. Now the Tundra, thats an ugly bitch

Your an operator, or what are you doing with it? If its a company truck, and they probably wont let you tune it on their dime, I'd take the titan unless your planning on buying it out if your company offers that. Sure the chev is a nicer truck, but the titan is quicker, and is going to get the heck beat out of it anyways. Might as well have some fun while you work.
