On the new models when you put on your high beams the lows stay on, and the DRL's in these new trucks are the low beams?

Correct.

The only thing that does not stay on when you run the high beams are the fog lights. You can mod them to stay on by putting in a couple diodes, however. Do a search, the procedure has been outlined many times here.

But if you have your fog lamps and high beams on at the same time, it is against the law in some states. DAve

Those of us who drive on back roads with little or no traffic, or go off road don't much care about laws, honestly :rollin:

Some states (WA is an example) prohibit having more than 4 lamps on at any one time when driving on a road. High beams and fogs are OK, low beams and fogs are OK, but high beams, low beams and fogs are not.
