Truxedo Lo Pro Adjustments?

Hey guys...anyone ever have a problem after they have completely installed their Lo Pro with the tailgate not shutting? Well I did, I have followed the destructions to a T and still can't seem to find the proper adjustment to make my tailgate shut. There is about a 1/2" of gap at the tailgate latch. The top of the tailgate hits the cover header before it can fully close. I have an 07 Sierra nbs that has that plastic factory tailgate cap. Could that be my problem?

I took apart the header stop on the latch side. The spring underneath has two holes that look like they could be a good place to adjust the header stop toward the cab but the problem with that is the alignment nub on the header stop, there is no hole for it to go in. Should I make a hole for it? Or is there another adjustment that I am not seeing? And I have adjusted the tension control as well, both ways. If you have any good suggestions I would appreciate it! Thanks

More or less looks the exact same...well minus your nicely closed tailgate! And that is the same tailgate cap that I was talkin about. So it must not be that.....

I loosened up the clamps and slid the rails as far forward as I could towards the front bed panel. The rubber seals are mashed tight like that.

Is the Height of the rails correct? If it's to low, I can see where that would be a problem. It takes a little time to make that adjustment correct as you tighten the clamps.

Just a suggestion. It just seems as the only problem I can think of. Unless you have the wrong model for your truck.

That will be worth a shot to re-check them. What I did was pushed the rails up to where they seemed to conform to the bed rails themselves. It seemed like they fit in the grooves of the bedrails. Do recall which position you have your clamps in? Out of the 3 positions, I have them in the bottom position and the cover rails seemed to be "level" as specified in the directions.

It looks like yours might sit a bit higher than mine...but that could be because I am studying yours to see what I did wrong!! I will have to run home real quick to take pics and get the part number...I like to call it another busy Friday.

Thanks Bill...I just went home after looking at Matt's pics and decided that I didn't have my cover rails high enough on the bedrails. The velcro was below flush so I loosened up the clamps put the rail seal flush with the top of the bedrail and WAALAAA!! Its all fixed up and workin great. I appreciate the input, THANKS!! :D:)
