01 4.8 Silverado Barely Runs

I bought a 01 4.8 silverado for 800$, has 300k! The truck, from what I was told, had the fuel pump and filter replaced before I bought it.

 

I replaced the fpr, which helped the starting issue, but...

 

The truck starts first or second crank. If I rev the engine up, it wants to die. The longer I sit there and play with the throttle, it seems to flatten out and it will start to rev good.

 

If I don't rev and sit and wait, and just start driving I get to about 2000 rpm and it starts missing, bad. Its almost impossible to rev above 2k rpm, I will get misfires, no doubt. I have to baby the throttle, always, otherwise it misses. Top speed is 55 mph!

 

The fpr had fuel in vac. line so I replaced...no more fuel..I've replaced the spark plug wires and plugs.

 

It has a misfire code on Check engine light.

 

Any ideas? Maybe fuel injectors are dirty/bad? Rails dirty?
