Will 285 Nitto Trail Grapplers Rub ?

You can get a 33" tire to work with your suspension mods. If you have an 18" stock rim then you can safely get a 285/65/18 tire (32.6") to work. Or if you have 17" stock wheels, a 285/70/17 (32.7") will work

For a 17 inch rim I'm pretty sure only Toyo's make a 285/75/17... If you've got it leveled you should be able to run 33's and be fine. There was someone on here that was running 275/70/18 (I think thats what it was) it measures out to something like 33.2". They said they had no rubbing and they were running BFG All-Terrians

Nitto makes a 285/75-17. I have been thinking about getting a set, but am waiting to see if anyone else does it first. I want to make sure they will fit with only a torsion bar turn.

just wondering if anyone could tell me if 285 nitto trail grapplers will rub on my 08 sierra all-terrain using the stock rims?

If you put the 285/65/18 Trail Grapplers on your truck.....please, please, please, please post pics. I've been wanting to see these on stock 18's for a while. Will probably end up on my truck with the stock 18" Silverado Z71 wheels that I have now. I think they will look freakin' awesome! And no....they shouldn't rub, especially with the leveling kit.

Not to hijack this thread but I am looking at buying some moto metal 951's 18x9 with some nitto's 285/65/18's does anyone on here have something like that with the stock suspension? I will have the RC 2inch level kit on it before I purchase the wheels. I just dont want it to rub at all. Have had rubbing problems before on my chevys and it gets old quick. Thanks for your time.

My friend just put some 295/70/17's on his Sierra with a Leveling kit. I don't think they rub and pretty sure he didn't trim. It's some Nitto Mud Grapplers

More details please, level kit used, wheels. I would like some Toyo M/T's and they only come in 265/70/17 32", 285/75/17 34.1" and 295/70/17 33.5" and I would like to know if they really fit or what.
