A 1980's liner on a modern truck? How about I pick the liner up if you pay me a $100 disposal fee?

I'm confused by the 1980's thing??

My 2500HD came with the OEM GM liner when I bought it. I was talking with the Line-x guys and they said they have a pile of bed liners out behind the shop.

They said, they can't even give them away and once a month they go out there with a reciprocating saw and cut them into pieces and toss them into the dumpster. They said due to the plastic construction of these things, they are not even recyclable.

Funny, they also said, every now and them they get rid of one for someone who wants to put in an in ground pond.

I try to give my away to everyone I see with a new body style Chevy or GMC truck that I see and no-one will take it.

Good luck with yours.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I am about to toss it. I just figured someone might want it before I destroy it.

Wouldn't this be better suited for the for sale sub forum?

Maybe...I thought about it, but decided it was more of an announcement than a sale.

How's this for an advertisement

$0 firm + shipping and handling

It seems to me that you will have to deliver the bedliner for free, give it away for free, and pay the person on the receiving end about $ 20 to take it.

I have a Pendaliner in my truck since new ('01) I have thrown tons of rocks, cord wood, top soil etc and it still looks fine. I know the sprayed on stuff looks good but I would not feel good about treating it like a truck. Probably fine for carrying a cooler.

I was thinking, if I could get a collection of these things, a little wood framing and it would make a fine deer stand....hmmmm
