Exhaust Paint

just got a muffler installed and they clamped a few joint but had to weld one, they also put a couple of tac wled on my tip so nobody steals it. I need to touch these up with some sort of paint. Would a regular high heat paint from home depot work?? maybe like a BBQ paint, or do i need some aluminized special paint.

I painted mine recently with rustoleum high temp black paint. About a month and its holding up great. I dont know how well it would do on the cats though, they can get 1200F i hear.

Usually 100-200 degrees above EGT

VHT paint will work nicely too

A high-temp metallic paint would do best.
