Black Billet Bowties On Black Truck

Bought a set of black billet bowties for my truck. Installed the front one right away. Wasn't too sure whether I wanted to install the rear one. I removed the stock rear emblem and thought I would leave it bare for a while. Well yesterday, I decided to see what the black bowtie would look like.

 

I actually like it! depending on how the light hits it, it can be almost invisible. Then at a different angle it looks like the tailgate is embossed with the emblem.

 

What do y'all think?

Looks alright but I agree with Blackout07, the lettering needs to go. Just my opinion. :chevy:

Complete emblem removal. I really like the look and I get asked all the time.....why.....then it they say it looks good. I want a polished bowtie on mine in place of the gold one.

I like color matched bowties but I dont like the one on the front for some reason it almost looks like it doesnt match. the one in the sig pic looks like its colored in with microsoft paint or photoshop??? maybe its jus me

I de-badged mine, I like the slick look with it off myself. I'm really stating to like the blacked out trucks now, might have to do it if I ever buy another black truck.

ding, ding, ding.....you are correct. I MS Painted the one in my sig picture since I didn't have a good picture at the time. Pretty lame, huh? :) I'll get a replacement up soon! :chevy:

Not debadging here either, except the huge emblem on the back tailgate. WAYYY too busy back there. You already have the handle and the rail across the top of the tailgate, it don't need another 1' big bowtie. Looks much better off. Leaving the letters though. But yes you HAVE to get rid of the dealership crap above the letters lol :chevy:
