Airbag Light/"service Airbag Soon" Message

I did a search and read through the threads I found but I was wondering if anyone had any more information on the airbag light. This morning I was driving to work. Approx 20 minutes with the cruise set at 65 then as I came to a stop at the exit the airbag light came on and the 'service airbag soon' message popped up. I started out when the light turned green, and it went away. Then at the next red light it popped back up again. I just put $900 into a new fuel pump. So I'm really hoping it's not a real expensive fix but I also don't want the airbags blowing up in my face as I'm driving. Any thoughts? I'm going to the dealer today for a scan and inspection of the system.

I would say loose connection since it appears to be speed related...

I took it in and got it scanned. It looks like the airbag controller under the seat may be on it's way out. It had a bunch of weird codes in there. So, they cleared it out and told me to drive it for a few days to see if it acts up again. They also inspected the whole system for loose connections, chaffed wires, etc. All looked OK. So, hopefully the clearing of the codes will work. If not, it looks like a new airbag controller. We'll see.
