I am looking to put an sound system in my 2009 Silverado, but want to upgrade to aftermarket cd player. Is there anyway to do this and still keep my onstar? If not I know I can hook it up to the stock but would prefer to have an aftermarket cd player. Also will doing this void any of my warranty if I put a new cd player in? Any advice or input is appreciated.

Thanks,

David

Yes. Go to www.pac-audio.com and put in your vehicle info. several items pop up that will integrate. I used the os4 and was able to keep xm, steering wheel controls, and onstar. comes with everything, and if you get a radio from www.crutchfield.com , the give you half off the price of the kit. (crutchfiled used to say this kit did not work for the GMT 900, but that is what it is made for!)

Ok thanks, I looked at the pac-audio website not sure what everything is the main reason for wanting to keep the onstar is the crash response. I never use the navigation, and my truck doesnt have the bluetooth or radio controls on the steering wheel is there just a simple wiring harness I could get without having to go all out with the one that will keep everything including things my truck doesnt even have.

Thanks,

David
