Usb Install

Hi Guys

 

I have a 2007 GMC sierra slt full loaded, frined of mine just bought a 2010 GMC Sierra sle and on the dash where there is the two power inputs for charging phones ,ect one of his is a usb.

I want this.... is the posssible to install the usb into mine...and if so where can i find the product online...or is this something that my gm dealer can do for me.

You should search the site. From what I have read you have to buy a 2010 radio and it will have the USB hookup in the back. This must be installed along with a USB cord. You may have to get the radio unlocked if it had ever been installed in another vehicle ( this can be done at the dealer). You can then either use the plugs that GM has (either where a cigarette lighter was on the dash or in a console) or create your own.
