Escalade cluster -- before, during, and after

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Peripheral iPod Adapter. It's giving me trouble..there's a loose connection somewhere because as I'm driving it switches from stereo (as it should) to only passenger side sound. Not sure what to do about that yet.

 

Peripheral stuff in

 

I wanted the cord to be routed to the ashtray, but there was no room..so I notched the ashtray.

 

 

Magnaflow 11246 (18" body, 2.5" center in / out) Sounds GREAT. I wasn't sure whether I would regret going with the 18" as compared to the 14" but I wouldn't have it any other way. Sounds stock under 1200 RPM, but has a smooth, deep tone when accelerating. Very mellow on the highway as well cruising at 2000 RPM. No drone at all.

Up next will be a black bowtie, possibly a 2" drop shackle kit (a little iffy on installation) to level it out, and a chrome grille and rear bumper if I can find them cheap. And after today's near 90F heat, I'm thinking about a trans cooler as it was running about 210F..I'd like to see it around 175F in this weather.

nice. did they really flip the gas gauge and oil pressure gauge from 01 to 05? weird.

BTW, I had a similar problem with my Peripheral PXAMG...they ended up replacing the module and harness, under warranty, to fix the problem.

I have the same problem with my Peripheral iPod adapter. I've narrowed it down to being the cord. The end that goes into the iPod has become loose and makes all kinds of noise/interference. I'm going to see if Peripheral will send me a new one.

I bought this Peripheral unit used from a user on this forum, and their warranty only applies to the original purchaser I did call their tech support (worthless btw) and they told me a new cord run me about $20.
