whats the big differences betwen the 4 different 1500 models.. i want blue or red but i want the z71 package.. it doesnt look like i can get this combo? or am i just an idiot? whenever i add the z71 package it removed the red and blue option. i dont get it.

anyway.. i will 100% be getting the crew cab. trying to save 10-15k for a huge downpayment so by that time it would be the late 2011 early 2012 models

i was going ot get a colorado but when i saw the prices were so close i decided to go with the better truck

Good call. I didn't notice that at all. I forgot Chevy was still an option.

I have a red Silverado with the Z71 package... it might be the trim level you're looking at. Try building it using the LT trim and the Powerpack Plus.

I believe the blue and red is not available with the WEA - Z71 appearance pkg. You can still get the suspension pkg Z71 in those colors.

Here is my new 2010 Chevy Silverado LTZ Z-71 in Victory Red. I bought it about three weeks abo, so they surely DO make Red Silverados in Z-71

I would not have spent my hard-earned dollars if they hadn't made the Silverado in Victory Red. And, frankly, I will not buy another Tahoe or Suburban until they once again make them in VR.

Screw the automakers; they either build what we want, or we will not buy the product. For me, that centers around Victory Red with Graphite or Black leather heated seats.

Not to be that thread hijacking guy but that's a pretty interesting tonneau cover you have there Steve. I am assuming it will open to give access to both the front or back of the bed.

So yesterday I'm going to play golf and I'm in my VR 2010... I parked next to another GMT900 in VR (a GMC). When I came back, someone in a VR 2010 Silverardo had parked right next to me as well....

Bird of a feather, I guess!

Crazy Canuck,

Yes, it is an incredibly useful, tough and great-looking tonneau cover. Would I buy it again??? Absolutely YES!!!!

It is made by Diamondback and it is marketed by Line-X ... and it is sprayed with the bed liner material, so the match is perfect.

It is one tough cookie ... I can walk on it and the build is bulletproof. Actually, the Diamondback is made to park a quad on and tie it down with ratchet belts.

The cost, which I consider to be VERY reasonable, is $799 for short bed and $899 for long bed. That price is delivered to your local Line-X dealership. I ordered and had the tonneau on the back of my truck in about 2 1/2 weeks.

Yes, it opens front and back. It is also really, really water-tight. There is a lock front and back. Please feel free to ask me any and all questions.
