Best Bolt On Replacement Muffler For 08 6.0 2500hd

Is a muffler that flows any better worth it on these trucks. Any gains , want something a little deeper a little louder but not too much.

Soo many choices, my yukon is gonna get borla xr1 mufflers just not sure 12" or 16" shorter/louder

magnaflow has some really good options to, either brand offers better sound and qaulity than flowmaster or dynamax...

I think the mufflers will not change any flows. The stock mufflers are pretty efficient. You are just going to change the sound

When I installed my Gibson dual extreme T-304 SS with mandrel bends I noticed better acceleration. One of my friends has same truck as mine and we tested out many times which truck accelerates faster in pick up. I always gain about a truck length or more then him upon acceleration. He has the stock muffler on his and my truck accelerates quicker everytime. Now he rarely uses 89 octane or higher unlike myself. We also have the same exact plow carraiges on our truck and same tires. I also have a tool box with tools and stuff in it that weighs a few hundred pounds at least, and no tune. I have added HD leaf springs to my OEM stack as well.

an aftermarket muffler will make a huge improvment in air flow or moving the air out faster, ask some other guys the oem muffler is quiet restrictive, we all dont change are mufflers just for sound

 

intake/qaulity filter = more air in faster

muffler/exhaust = more air out faster

simple math
