305/50/20 On Stock Wheels?

305/50/20 Tires will fit on stock trucks... they're the same diameter as stock tires, just wider. However, with the stock wheels you may rub the sway bar; which neither a body lift nor suspension lift will eliminate.

 

Jenna has a lot more experience fitting this size on stock trucks... might want to shoot her a PM if she doesn't chime in. I would think that, without a leveling kit, you'd want to keep the wheel width at 8.5" max and have a backspace of 5.5-5.7"...

 

I was running them on the Tahoe, but it was stock suspension. We also are running them on the Silverado.
