Want To Add Oem Keyless Entry And Remote Start

my truck currently has a pos aftermarket alarm that was installed by the dealer before i purchased the truck. the alarm is a flaming pile of crap, and i want to rip it out. my question is does anyone know if i can put the oem keyless entry/remote start in my truck.

 

its a 09 sierra 1500 w/t has power locks, windows, on star, cruise ect.

 

im sure i will need the reciever, and the fobs, but does anyone know if this is doable?

Yes, you can add key less entry and remote start on your truck

i tried to order the remotes from the dealer and they looked up my vin and said i cant. is there a way i can check if this is true or not

you need an rpo code that is found in the glove. i think it.s ap8. i don't have it so i wasn't able to add it.

looks like it needs to have AU0 and i dont have that... damn...

Did you just give up...they can add anything to your truck just about...you just have to find someone who knows how and gives a damn about you ??
