I ordered my new truck yesterday. Regular cab long box w/ the 6 L. Not impressed w/ the Steel Green Metallic so I went w/ the Imperial Blue Metallic & Light Titanium cloth interior.

What doesn't show up in the photo is the colour keyed body side mouldings. They look much better than the plain black ones that my last 2 trucks came w/ (had the dealers remove 'em before delivery).

Defnitely will be a 4x4. This will be my 6th truck.

One thing that's different up here in Canada is option availibility. In the US the Integrated Brake Controller is a mandatory option. Here it is an option, you don't have to order the brake controller.

 

Also, if you order a truck w/ the LT package in the US, the UUI stereo isn't available as an option, just the US8 unit. Canadian buyers can purchase the UUI.

Be interested to see if you actually get the light titanium interior. All the 2010 base trucks I have seen say they have titanium interiors, but actually have ebony. I got the window sticker for my truck, it says Titanium, if you look up the VIN it comes back ebony. Ebony was not even available on the W/T or SL models, but they all came with it. The only titanium you get is the dash panel. Seats are exactly the same as the SLE seats material.

The truck has the LT (1SB package) & the dealer info shows the light titanium trim, RPO 84C.

The work trucks do come with what is referred to as "Dark Titanium" however yes like Doug said the "Dark Titanium" is a very dark gray that most would call black. Revrd ordered a 1LT which options him up to different color choices.

I am getting ready to order a 2011 Sierra 2500HD...I like the Midnight Blue Metallic...did you consider the cashmere for the interior color, I am torn between the Ebony and the cashmere. Interested in your cost...so far dealer is offering $39k with the rebates for the one I built. Z71, camper mirrors, SLE preferred package, 6" oval step assist, HD trailering package, 5th wheel wiring package, 160 amp alternator, 18" AT polished aluminum wheels, 4x4 crew cab standard box

The Canadian pricing is higher than the US MSRP, even w/ the dollars close to parity.

 

My '04 (metallic blue) has a tan interior, so I thought I'd do something different w/ this truck. My '94 teal/silver 2 tone truck had a grey cloth interior (even the vinyl floormat was matching in those days) & I had no problems keeping it clean.

Talking to the salesman a week ago & he had gotten word that my truck is scheduled to be built this week (Sept' 27). I won't be able to pick it up until Nov', so I'm in no hurry for it to arrive. I'll post pics when I get it.
