so after tons of research, i decided that this combo would be plug and play and would require no modifications as they would NOT rub.

 

my truck is:

 

 

  • 2010 Silverado
  • Z71
  • Crew Cab
  • Z71 Appearance Package (painted front)

new setup is:

 

  • 275/60/20 Cooper Zeon AT LTZ
  • Helo 835 Chrome 20x9 Wheels with +18 Offset
  • Rough Country 2" Leveling Kit

 

 

well.........they rubbed. not real bad but bad enuff that i had to pound the inner plastic with a body hammer. rubbings gone now......they look beautifull!

Where exactly did you rub?

 

There's always a bit of variation. But with the setup you have, usually any rubbing can be taken care of with a few well placed zip ties to pull the liner back.

 

Take some pics of where you modified so that others will know for future reference.

 

Truck looks great by the way! :P

Looking good! Are the chrome tow hooks a mod? Or were they part of the stock package?

 

stock withe Z71 appearance package.

please take pics of where its rubbing im am about to buy same size and brand tire but the rims im getting r 20x9 with +10mm offset which is about 5.4" backspace.

 

Can you take some more pix from a a few angles? The rims i really want are 20x9 Offset -12mm Backspacing: 4.52" but will rub and will stick out so thats a no go :sigh:

 

Your 20x9 +18 offset is 5.71" right?

 

 

i just want a idea on how its going to look. I hope with the 5.4" backspacing mine wont rub at all

not sure what the backspacing equates to, but yeah....20x9 and +18 offset. rubbing was very minor behind drivers side front tire.........a body hammer resolved that issue.

i like the stance!

 

 

me too! i didn't measure before hand but i'd say the 2" RC kit and tire diameter raised the rockers about 2.75" - 3". my 5'8 short ass has to kinda hop up now! next upgrade - motorized nerf bars i guess!

im 6'3 and i half to step up on stock tires with level kit lol i like n-fab and go rhino style bars
