Got to see two up close yesterday. Dunno what the dealers will sell em for, but these were fully loaded cc 6ft bed 4x4 Denali HD diesel/allisons with sunroof, cooled seats etc and sticker was 61k. With the 10k off GM is offering, 50k ain't too shabby for a loaded diesel/allison 4x4 Denali compared to say a King Ranch or something. Just thought it was interesting. I remember seeing stickers on loaded diesel LTZ's for 80k+ a year or so ago.

Holy Crap! 80k for a diesel LTZ? I recently saw an Escalade EXT Platinum at my local dealer with a sticker price around 85k. In comparing to my SLT which stickered slightly shy of 40k, it REALLY makes you wonder how a slightly larger engine, chrome blingy wheels, slight additions of leather on a few surfaces and a rear AV system are worth a 45k premium. Ridiculous unless your in it for status only.

But, if I was to come across a 50k Duramax Denali, my interest would surely spike.

That's how I looked at it as well. I had sticker shock (knowing the prices before I went) when they said 28 was the best they could do on my LT. When I saw stickers (glove box of repos) for over 80 on a truck that just had some fake leather, fake wood, and a small dvd player mounted in the headliner, all I could do was laugh. Ford was the same way a year or so ago. Dodge was the only one decent priced, but I won't buy anymore. 50 for a diesel denali with an allison though.. if I had the cash and was in the market for a diesel, I. Would be all over it like sasuage gravy on biscuits.

Thats ridiculous of a price tag. Could care less about them charger thousands extra for optional wheel package, you can buy better aftermarket and save money. Just like how automakers charge you a premium for their optional sound systems, complete with speakers made out of pinata paper from mexico, it's all crap imo. It seems the price for a diesel goes up every 2 years or so and it is way too much for a diesel engine. The differences between the 6.0 and 8.1 engine was only hundreds of dollars, not thousands like they do for a diesel. Yes a diesel will last longer and go 500,000 miles and more, but in the end they are built from same materials, not out of gold. I was out a dealer a couple months ago to demo a Camaro SS which was loaded and had optional 21" wheels on it. They wanted $5500 more because of the wheels on it, I've seen much better wheels on the market that cost much less in that size. I understand that the Denalli is the luxury version for trucks, but $80k is getting too ridiculous of a price to pay for it.

No, 80 is what I have seen stickers for LTZ Silverados say a year or two ago. Denali was 60 and GM is running 10,500 off sticker deals right not (at least local dealers are). 50 ain't bad for a diesel allison Denali.

My '05 Silverado Dmax stickered just under 50 large ones basically 6 years ago. Of course I didn't pay that for it, so I wold say a 2011 Denali stickered at 60k and buyable at 50k is a good deal!

Just where exactly is this dealership that's taking $10k off of the new Denali HD's? The most I can find out here in sunny SoCal is $2500 + the $1500 rebate. If California's smog laws weren't so screwed up, I'd buy a truck from out of state.

There is no new LTZ Duramax pickup that stickers for $ 80K here in the US, unless it has about $ 15k of add-on equipment(custom conversion, lift, etc). Maybe in Canada.

80k in canada isn't unheard of. I just priced a 3500 ltz online and with all the features I could select got the MSRP up to 82k. But Chevrolet.ca's build and price is also telling me there is 12000 in price adjustments.

I see them everyday (lease return and repossed vehicles). Also see rentals from all companies. I dunno if dealer add ons were part of the stivker (never looked hard enough), but a year or two ago it wasn't un common to see stickers in the glovebox for fully loaded LTZ diesels at 80k. US.

I heard a radio add for Koons Chevrolet in Maryland and I believe VA for 10.5 off 2010 chevys. I got 11 off sticker on mine from them.

Luxury pickup trucks are really tacky IMO. I just care about the mechanicals and they seem to be all the same. I've seen a Harley Davidson F-350 in Canada sticker for 89k before. It was the tackiest interior I have ever seen!

thats not too bad, i wish in a way they would give some sort of incentive for buying the new dmax with the urine injection....a diesel and a gas engine now a days can last just as long, maintance and how you treat it are huge factors
