Dealership "we Owe"

I recently purchased my truck from a dealership and worked in a tire swap on a We Owe and I am just curious as to what my legal stance is if they keep giving me the run around.

Did..you get it in writing???

Yep. Its on the We Owe. Is that document binding and how long do I have before I have before its void?

I got one of those for my side steps. I didnt have any trouble. The steps came in the same day I picked up the truck.

They were taking these tires from another truck. I liked them more and they have more aggressive grip to them. As long as I can take them to court over it if they keep this up then I am happy

When I bought my 2010 a few months ago, I got a "We Owe" for the Line-X and the nerf bars. I bought the mid-level nerf bars because the GM Ovals were totally outrageous in price.

When I picked up my truck, the Line-X was done and perfect, but they'd installed the GM Oval nerf bars. I signed over the "We Owe" slip and asked about the nerf bars ..... the local GM warehouse was out of the mid-level bars, so the GM Ovals were installed instead.

No Charge ... and with the compliments of Town & Country Chevrolet.

Considering this transaction and several more with T&C employing "We Owe" slips, I'd not worry if I were you.

Oh I got a copy. I just want to make sure. It was less than 30 days ago but this is my sole vehicle and so i need a loaner or something so I am going in tomorrow when I can wait on it.

if they run you around again, spend the money for the hour fee and talk to a lawyer and have him/her look at it. they will give you everything you need

My brother had a "we owe" when he got his truck. He too kit back a week later after the dealer called and had all the parts. He got GM bedliner installes, nerf bars, tonneau cover, bed rail protectors, and a tool box. Sounds like the dealership you are dealing with isn't any good. Whatever is on the "we owe" is a legal agreement and they need to honor it. Remeber this stuff when GM sends you the "dealer survey".

What tires were they? Is it possible they sold this truck with "the tires" on it? Were they swapping wheels too or just changing tires? They should have no trouble getting tires.
