2011 Sierra 2500hd Interior Color Decision

I am in the process of ordering a new 2011 Sierra 2500HD in Midnight Blue Metallic, but can not decide on the interior color...Ebony or the Cashmere. Ebony will hide the dirt, but every dealer around here orders the Ebony so everyone has it. The cashmere is lighter, gives a nice contrast with the black dash and not everyone has this color. this truck is not used as a work truck but my day to day driving and pulling our 35' camper.

 

Anyone have either of these interior colors...pros, cons or pictures? Looking for other opinions...

I would go ebony, the darker color is easier to maintain and keep looking nice IMO.

i have cashmere...

 

only down side is if you wear blue jeans often, the dye from the jeans will rub off on the leather,.. and its permanent.

 

I ended up buying some GM leather seat covers for driver and passenger seats.

i personally would go with cashmere as i like the lighter interior waaaay better and it stays way cooler

we have 4 kids, but they are not in the truck on a regular basis. When we travel now in the Tundra I typically will put down a blanket for their cars seats to rest on. Currently have a light gray/silver interior color that I spray scotchguard on 2x a year and it has upheld well.

We keep going back and forth on the pros and cons of the cashmere versus the ebony. I do like the contract the cashmere has up against the black dash and steering wheel....

Would appreciate any photos out there of the cloth (don't like leather) cashmere in a truck...can't seem to find one on lot in Iowa

I just got my 2011 gmc Sierra Duramax 2 weeks ago and I ordered cashmere and love it after always having ebony or pewter.I will have to clean more often but the look is well worth it . The interior is 2 tone dark and light .

did you get the cloth or leather...that two tone look is what is catching my eye when I build the truck on-line and compare the cashmere and the ebony. How do you like the 2011 Sierra? That is what I am leaning on versus the Silverado, I like the front end better. Getting a gasser thought and not the diesal

 

You wouldn't happen to have a picture of the interior?

Thanks for the Pic Ryan....I see you are a Bears fan...that is always a good thing. I hope the Bears are getting all their losses out of the way now in pre-season otherwise it will be another long season, and even longer for me as my wife is a Vikings fan!

 

Back to my post though...I haven't seen a cashmere interior on this truck any where so hoping someone out there has a cashmere cloth interior I could see...thanks again

I ordered a 2011 Sierra 2500HD on Saturday...with Ebony premium cloth seats. Can't wait for it to arrive!
