Ipod Question & 2010 1500

tried to search but could not find anything.

I am looking at the 2010s and was wanting to know if the USB port on the stereo will recongnize an iPod with USB adaptor for charging and playing?

I understand that there is an AUX in too, but the USB is the route I would rather take as it provides charging too.

My Iphone 3gs and the Iphone 4 worked great on my 2010 factory radio.

Well I just borrowed my brother's Cobalt for the weekend and he has the same radio as in the trucks, and the iPod worked perfectly with the USB in that so I would say it should work great in the truck as well.

All the iPod controls are through your radio, so you don't even have to touch the iPod.

Glad to hear, I was hoping that was the case, most topics related to using a flash drive.

ive used my i-touch and thumb drive to play music. Also use the USB cord for my phone to computer to charge my phone
