the hammer Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 opened the door, flew right on in. Now i got to get it out. Who's got the best trap to catch him? I don't want to have him crawl up my leg or fly in my face while driving, we know that won't end well. ha
gmowner4life Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I had that happen... i just grabbed the bug spray and went around the perimeter of my truck... found it when I went to the car wash... picked it right up with the vaccum.
sonjaab Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 Ahhh................Bugs and crawlin' critters ! Life in a sub-tropical climate........... Catch ya one of those gecko lizards that are everywhere down there and put one in yer truck! Natures pesticide !
the hammer Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 I may just let the truck sit in the sun all day and see if that bakes him. This is one time being a White Truck Club Member doesn't pay.
Bob D Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 A couple sticky traps on the floor overnight (usually being nocturnal feeders), baited with little roach treats.
jrod332 Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 try fogging him out with a bug bomb. Throw it in there and close the doors

Roaches can survive nuclear explosions. I don't think a hot day in the sun will bother him. try fogging him out with a bug bomb. Throw it in there and close the doors I like this idea! Make sure you cover your truck with a tent like you are fumigating a house
mxdirtrider56 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Wow! I thought you meant a doobie! Haha glad I'm not the only one!

blinke Posted September 6, 2010 Posted September 6, 2010 FYI, doors and windows aren't their only entry method. Used to find them occasionally crawling out of my floor vents if I left the car parked for a while with the "vent" open to outside air. Sucks to get them out. Glue traps are probably a safe bet. I bait our house with dried molasses and boric acid. Try that combo sprinkled on the trap - 100% kill, everytime.
