Avs Window Shades

I installed AVS window shades on 2010 silverado and the wind noise increase terrible.. I am to the point of taking them off. I love the look, wish they wasn't so noisy. Does anyone have the GM window shades? If so, do you hear a lot of wond noise?

Did you get the in channel vent shades or the ones that use double sided tape to stick to the door? I've got the Weather Tech in channel shades, and I have a little more wind noise than before, but not enough to bother me.

hmm, that strange. I put some on my '04 hoping to decrease windnoise. Hoped it would deflect the wind off the windows a little more. Plus I just like the look. Anyways I couldn't tell any difference one way or another. That is with the stick om kind.

I have the the two sided 3m stick on shield. Hope they are not to hard to get off..

I have the AVS in channel ones and there is no real noise increase. I like them!

They make a new low profile in channel that I thought about getting.

I had the avs in-channel on my 08 ext-cab and the same on my 09 cc and had no wind noise.

BTW--when I traded in my ext-cab I took the vents off the front doors and now they just sittin in my garage...anybody interested...message me..

it isnt that bad, use a heat gun WAY easier. trust me.
